A baby girl................. :( But how do I do that when having final number 3 could mean just another sweet little boy............. Since the Jones Family doesn't produce girls............
I think Josh is on board now.... He see's how badly I would LOVE to have one. He told me to do some research.......hahahaha.........only my husband. So since we really ideally would not want to get pregnant for another year or more... I have that much time to figure out how to sway the cards my way, if that is even possible..............
Who knows............ maybe I will change my mind entirely about having another. I have been known to go back and forth on this.... I love my boys........and our little family. But, I am out numbered & I would love a daughter to do special Mom and Daughter things with. Maybe pay for a wedding in 25 years, and do all the amazing special things a Mom can only do with a daughter. My Special Wish.............I hope one day it is granted.................. :)

Problem Solved......We Hired A Nanny!!!
I am thrilled!! The Nanny has now been with us two weeks, and she is WONDERFUL!!!
I had no idea what I was going to do. I thought I was in a rut, because my parents were out of the country on their trip, I needed to go to work, calling in for 2 weeks wasn't an option, and putting them in daycare with the swine flu going around and "E" being only 6 weeks wasn't an option per his pediatrician if we could help it.
So I placed and Ad, and started interviewing. The perfect nanny would come to my home before I left for work, cook Zach his meals, hang out with Ethan and make sure he was fed and changed, know CPR for children and infants, have a fingerprint clearance card, not mind dogs, and be educated in children, or school age appropriate activities etc. for 2 yrs olds, and older.
I ofcourse had many answers to the ad. Lots of kids looking for work after they had just gotten out of H.S. --- some Mom's who wanted to bring their kids here as well, ( which we would have allowed if they signed a waiver we were not responsible for injury in our home.) Mom's who hated their jobs, cause they were taking advantage of the economy and walking all over the employees and they wanted to get out, but had to have some kind of income coming in.
Then, there was Kari. She was educated. Ran her own daycare with 19 kids, has preschool and kindergarden education. Raised 3 boys of her own already, and just stuck out like a sore thumb. I set up interviews. Kari being number 1--- and WE LOVED HER!!! She brought me her CPR copies of her cards for infants and children. She is STARRS certified in california, she had a finger print clearance card, which she provided a copy to me as well, she had ideas on what she was going to do with Zach. What a normal day would consist of,.... Painting, drawing, learning numbers, letters, potty training, etc. etc. etc. it went on and on. I was AMAZED!!! The next interviewee showed up, and we had to say goodbye. As she was walking out, Josh and I looked at each other like-- Whoa, this one is going to be hard to beat!! Turns out,.... she was!!! We ended up cancelling all additional interviews after the next one showed up, and later that night I called and offered her the job. She immediately said she was excited.... and it has been AMAZING ever since. She is halarious--- and I just feel so comfortable with leaving my kids with her. Zach runs after her blowing kisses goodbye, Ethan is always well taken care of when Josh gets home, I have pictures and paintings on my fridge when I get home, hand painted ornaments for our x-mas tree---- SHE ROCKS!!!
We put a muzzle on Molly for 2 days in the beginning, and now she totally knows she belongs. We have not muzzled her since day 3 when Kari got here, and she walked in the front door, and even the blind, deaf dog got excited! Hahaha.... she lays right by her, and she is doing great with her!!! <---------Definately happy this little relationship/understanding is working for these 2.
So worth the money to have a Nanny......SO WORTH it. I have a babysitter on the weekends if I ever need one to go shopping, hang out with my husband and do dinner and a movie, go holiday shopping, etc. etc. I work Black Fri. or else I would still have her here while I went shopping. But, I will definately be taking her up on the shopping or date with my husband. Makes me so happy!!! She came into our lives, at the most perfect time!!!

So the boss returns.... and the saga continues....
Well, she wasn't too happy to come back to what she found out was going on. We each got pulled into a conference, and asked what was going on, cause she got an invite in with the site director at 3pm. She listened to what happened..........and was appauled by what her team said about her. Her favorite one that the team said about her was that she had a Napolean Complex. Hahahaha
Well, lets just say the team has quieted down, still are unfriendly to the new people, but who cares. They are just scared that we are going to outdo them, cause basically they are at the bottom of the barrel numbers wise. I guess you have to look at it this way -- The only way at this point, ... IS UP... hahaha and when you get expierenced people doing this job... thats where it shall go!! UP :)
By the way,.... wondering what ever happened to good ole' Christy???? Well, she attempted to access the building on Thursday.... and her badge was DENIED. Christy is looking for a new job, today. Good luck racial discriminating in a workplace again. That will get ya everytime!! Hahahaha.....

Did I tell you about my job,... and new team!???
Can we say the 1st 2 weeks I was there, i thought I made the biggest mistake in the world. Oh boy..... Oh boy.....
So, we met our "team" the 1st 3 days we were there. There was no friendly welcome from ANY of them. It was like we walked onto the team with a bunch of snobby, stuck on themselves, Bitc*es. Hahaha... I was like, oh boy here we go. Number 1, I would RATHER have a male as a boss, and the more males on the team, the better. My personality with woman... oh yikes. When they are dumb, or acting so, I feel the need to have my forward Chicago personality and say so. Just something I have not lost over all these years. The ability to be outspoken, and not know when to keep my mouth closed. Hahaha.....
So, there was this girl Christy on the team, who decided to racially discriminate and call my friend Leigh a "whetta", which means "whitey" in spanish. You can't imagine a more outspoken girl then me.... well you haven't met Leigh then. She wanted to get up in Christy's face, and go at it. You are probably asking-- was this at your work, or in high school!??? Yes... I asked myself that same question. Hahahaha... so this totally started workplace drama. I wanted to keep my nose in my desk, and hide. Hahaha.... not to mention our boss was out of the office at the time, and there wasn't anyone there that was going to do anything about it!!
So, on to the next drama, the whole team hates the manager, and made it known to say the least. I honestly thought I was working for the daughter of Satan by the things they said about her. I was definately at this time, second guessing my idea of returning to work. Hahaha. We were told she is a hardcore micro manager, she is strict, there is no fun on her team, if she doesn't like you, she will have you hitting the highway faster than you know what hit you. Oh gosh... and it goes On & On & On. I honestly called my old boss and said-- "Hey, I want to come back over to your dept." He currently is looking for a job for me to do there, so I could get out of "hell on earth" as I put it. hahaha

Returning back to work..........
For a while I didn't think returning to work was for me. With 2 boys at home, I thought I would LOVE spending my days at home with them. I do love spending my time with them, however it was too much for me not to put my skills to use. I felt like I was loosing my ability to work. My ability to be worth the dollar amount I worked so hard to be worth. I got all this education/training to sit at home, and do nothing!?? No way........
So, I got a job opportunity that I didn't want to turn down. One day I got a call regarding a job called a "L1 Decisioner." You have to have extensive processing background, and be on the level of "Senior" or SME. (Subject Matter Expert)
I loved working for Wells Fargo in the Home Mortgage Dept. LOVEEDDD ITTT.... and couldn't wait to return back to that!!! So, I took the job offer..... Definately getting nicely compensated for doing so as well!!
Babysitting the kids were our family friend, and my Dad came by too to check in and see how things were going here. It worked out perfectly, cause the boys got the stay home, sleep in their beds, and didnt have to wake up at 4:30am or 5am to be out the door so Mom could get to work. Worked out PERFECTLY!! And the kids were very happy!! Then, my parents and Polly and her daughter were leaving for their trip to Italy, Greece, Spain, and Egypt for 2 weeks. I needed to figure out what I was going to do, and do it quickly!!
Stay Tuned

Ethan's 1 month Checkup
Ethan went to the doctor on 11/6 for his 1 month checkup. We got him weighed, measured, head circumference, and we talked lots about him!
Ethan's Statistics as of 11/6/09
Weight: 10 lbs 0 oz. ---- 25th percentile
Height: 22" ------50th percentile
Head Circumference: 14 3/4" --25th percentile
The Dr. didn't yell at me like I thought she would about his weight. Well, I guess that's because we didnt see his regular pediatrician. We saw another Dr. in the office, cause Ethan's Dr. was booked out pretty far for well visit exams. Dr. Wallace was really nice. I guess it wasn't concern because the child is in the 25th percentile for weight. Its not like he is in the 75th or higher. She listened to what was going on with him, and had some good advice of what we could try to help poor Ethan and the acid reflux. We got a prescription for Prevacid while we were there, and spoke about the Zantac he was currently on. The Plan: to start him on both daily, and then slowly wean him off the Zantac and keep him solely on the prevacid. Dr. Wallace said his head strength is great!! He is very strong! We were to also start on 5 minutes of tummy time a day. That would help him continue to grow in his strength. So far, its worked!!
Ethan got 1 shot this last visit. Hepatitis B shot. Poor buddy-- I always think they hurt Mom worse than baby. He cried for 3 seconds, at the most. It was super quick. I am not looking forward to his 2 month visit, where they will give him 4 shots, and 1 orally. I think this time around with my 2nd, its alittle different. I can actually watch them get the shots, where as with Zach, it hurt me too badly, and I always had to turn away. My little tough guy!! Mommy was so proud.
