Doing some Catch up here on the good ole' blog! So...Starting from the weekend!!!
The weekend was really nice. We have been running around a lot lately, getting things ready for the baby, seeing family while I am still feeling up to it, and just enjoying our time spending it together as our small family unit.
We ended up going to the West Side on Fri. night for Jacob's family party. Luckily I got off a little early and was able to be home, get Zach ready, and go pick Daddy up from work so we could drive together.
So, we hung out with family, and just had a good time with Jacob for his 6th b-day! Seriously, I have to be getting old, cause I remember when I came into this family, he was a TINY baby, not even crawling yet. Man, does time fly by!!!
So, that was Fri night. Then, to wake up Sat. morning at 5 am, so I could be at the DD to pick up a box of munchkins for my boy ( Sat. ritual ) then get my butt to Home Depot to pick out and finalize the colors I wanted the master painted. Ok, I had 45 minutes to put this together in my head color wise. I didn’t have Josh there for an opinion, so it all sat on my shoulders. HOW STRESSFUL!!! So, I picked a Classic Taupe, and a Belgian Chocolate Color. WOWOWOW, am I good!!!
7am the painters show up and get to work. Let's just say it was an AMAZING job!!! I love it a lot!!
Sunday, we just hung out and did things around the house. The furniture is going to be moved down this week, and then Josh and I are going to get started on Zach's new room. So exciting, cause his Daddy has all these ideas he wants to do in his room.
Ever since Sat. I have been having " Braxton Hicks" more frequently. Like… All the time! I actually had to call the OB today, because the pain was so bad, I didn't know if I was having actual contractions or not. I am still hanging at work, even though he wanted me home to lay flat, drinking lots of water. I missed work yesterday, because when I got up, the pain was so unbearable that I couldn't drive. Heck, I had tears in my eyes... it hurt THAT BAD! So, the babysitter said- Maggie, you can't go to work! Call the Dr. and see what he says. So, I called and guess what!?? He was in a C-section. Surprise Surprise, since it was Tuesday morning. ( Just happens to be the day of the week Ethan will be born, if he isn't taken earlier.) So, I had to wait to get in to see him at 1:30pm. Did I tell you I have THE BEST babysitter for Zach?? She cooks, does minor dishes to make sure I don't have to, takes care of Zach like he is hers, and is really awesome! It will be sad to see her go when my time is up at work... cause I GOT LUCKY!! So, Gina took care of Zach, while I got to lay around, and pretty much relax. (In between feeling contractions) So, I get to the Dr. and the Dr. checks to make sure I am not dilating. Lucky for me, I wasn't-- but he said- Maggie your bladder is black and blue. I think the baby is kicking you over and over in the same area, which is causing you some of your pain. So, he was able to move him out of the region, and give me some relief. It hurt--- but that 5 minutes of pain allowed me to get some good rest last night, and also wake up and question whether I was still pregnant this morning. Hahaha... I felt really good! Now, I hope my bladder heals up quick, cause Dr. said there is no gauruntee he is not going to have to be moved again. Oh Joy!! :) So, no limitations yet as far as work goes, other than I have to sit with my feet up, can't push or pull anything, and really can't lift anything. Told me to stay out of the heat, and if I am outside, I need to swim, or be in water. He said that will also allow me to try to "float" Ethan out of the area I dont want him in. What was I thinking getting pregnant in the cooler months, and putting myself through this?? Next time, I will do it the other way around!! LOL...

So, I told work today that I would atleast give a 30 day notice. They are not sure who they are going to put in my place, however it will take sometime to train this person on the MANY things I do. I have not given notice yet... but who knows what will happen. UH-- I hate uncertainty. I love my managers, and it really is such an awesome fit.... I would only consider EVER returning to work for them. Just couldn't get any better....... LUCKY ME!!!

Anyhow,... this weekend is yet another B-day party-- more of Zach's party stuff I have ordered has shown up, and I am SUPER excited to throw my big boy a great bash! It makes me sad he is getting so big. :( My little peanut is growing up so quickly!!

Til Next Time...
