Keeping Busy...

Times have been so busy for us lately in the Jones' House. We are swamped in parties for birthday's and showers!! It has been pretty non-stop, which I knew was going to happen. I went out to the store the other day and bought Zach's 1st b-day present. Mommy got him a Car's Racing Trik. It is pretty cool!!! The handle bars on it actually have like a dashboard which lights up, has a radio on it, the ignition turns and it plays "cars" theme stuff, etc. Yeah I saw it and immediately thought he would totally dig it. Not only that, he is a big boy now, and LOVES wheels and anything he can ride on, or push around. Josh however, had a different direction he wanted to move with his b-day gift. TOTAL BOY--- ofcourse which means, it is sports related. And what sport you might wonder… I'll give you two guesses and the first one doesn't count. Ofcourse, it is BASKETBALL!!! So, Daddy wants to get him this huge basketball hoop thing. He took me to the toy store the other night to show it to me, however, I wanted to get it then and there. Ofcourse Zach was with us, and looked at the box and pointed, so Josh said I had to come back and get it WITHOUT Zach. I said- he is 2 years old-- Do you honestly think he is going to remember the box 3 weeks from now?? Josh said that his 1 toy from Momma is a surprise, and his will be too! So, off to the Toy Store Mommy goes to pick up Daddy's present this weekend. Nanna Jones called me lastnight to "clear" his present with me to make sure no-one else was getting him one. Needless to say--- He is going to LOVE IT! Daddy doesn't even know what he is getting… :) Then, I talked to Polly, who had already picked up his gift. It was not a big surprise the gift is related to music. Zach LOVESSSSS music, dancing, clapping, etc. But, the awesome part is it not only has music, it has educational basis behind it. Mommy picked him up some books the other night while I was at Target which teach how to trace letters, numbers, etc. with the wipe clean markers. I want him to start getting into stuff like that, painting, drawing, and arts and crafts. LOL--- somehow the thought my son with markers THOROUGHLY scares me!!
Talking about this weekend,… it is going to be JAM PACKED. Friday night it is going to be JAM PACKED. We have Jacob's b-day party! It is the family party that everyone will come to. I haven't seen the rest of the Jones Clan in forever. I problably will get to hang with my SIL and BIL while we are there, which we have not seen in a bit. Then, ofcourse the rest of the family…. Which feels like we haven't seen in years. :) I think they saw me when we first announced we were pregnant, yet AGAIN, after the other 2 losses. So, it has been awhile!! My bump is growing on a daily basis, and Ethan is getting bigger and bigger. I am still only at 18lbs. which is FANTASTIC. I really hope I can lose it quickly. My goal with this little guy is going to be to work off these extra LBS. ASAP. The nice part about it is, I lose a lot of the weight about 2 weeks after I have the baby. WooHoo...
So, Fri. is the b-day party, then Sat. we have the painters coming to paint... Oh my gosh, then at some point we have DR Horton coming in to rip out the bathtub in the master bathroom. They are replacing it FINALLY with another tub. They better hope there is no mold in the wood in the walls when they pull the tub out. They are going to have a lot bigger job than a tub to worry about if that's the case. I am worried about living in the house for the 3 days, cause they are going to have to saw the tub into multiple pieces to tear it out. Probably not good for me or Zach to be breathing in. So preparations for that. This weekend after the painting is done, I am hopeful to get some furniture moved downstairs to start getting to work on Zach's room. That is going to be fun putting it together! So, busy weekend!! Then, we have Jason's b-day party next weekend. Then it's count down to Zach's b-day from there. I have lots to do in preperation. Let the games begin!! TIME IS FLYING BY!!

Til next time-- Stay tuned for more craziness updates, and photos.
