Parties are SO Fun To Plan....

I love planning parties. I am having such a fun time planning Zach's 2nd birthday right now, just imagining how much fun it is going to be with all of our friends there, with their kids, etc. I am having a laid back carnival theme. Not so much that I am going to have games galore, or anything like that.... I just like the decor and thought the bright colors/balloons would look great! I really just want to have some fun with the boy, and with the kids there, he will be kept busy!!I told you I would win on the waterslide in the previous posts, and ofcourse I did!!~~ Josh couldn't give me any ideas on "water activities" as he likes to call it,...so I came up with my own idea!
*** Check this baby out *** All reserved and ready to go for our party!!
Did I mention that adults can go on this thing too?
Hahahah,.... I can only imagine how fun this will be seeing the boys go down it, or even Sam, Heather, Tiffanie, Shannon, Gina, my Mom or anyone else daring enough to go down this! I will be at the bottom right, just hanging out. What a FUN idea! It has cannon's on it that shoot water up at the people coming down the slides! Thanks to Momma Sam who has offered to sit at the bottom basin who is also CPR certified. You're the best!! Best money I could have spent for his party! I am an amazing Mom!! But more so, I love my son's more than life itself!

So, the food is going to be nothing over the top. Josh has offered to man the grill. I am sure some of our friends will also help out! On the list of fantastic foods are:

  1. Hotdogs
  2. Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers
  3. Chips
  4. Potato Salad
  5. Coleslaw
  6. Fruit Salad
  7. Possibly Corn on the Cob ( cause I am pregnant, and LOVE it right now!!! )
  8. Cake and Ice Cream

I was going to do a margarita machine of some type for fun, but I am still thinking about it. I atleast will do like big coolers of Kool-Aid, Pop, Water for the kids, and something fun for the adults! I love that Zach is born in the summer. I LOVE summer food, and am so excited to be able to use it for his special day!

We absolutely LOVE entertaining, and having parties!!!

Can't wait to see everyone there~~

FUN!! And yes, I'll tell you right now I WILL be going down that water slide. I don't care if I'm 7+ months prego, bring it on :) It looks and sounds fun so far!!

I am still not liking much meat these days bring prego, my little man doesn't like it!! BUT, I like the corn on the cob idea, I agree with you, its one of my FAVORITE things right now!! And cake and ice cream you can never go wrong with :)

Love ya!!
