Its About Time.... We Have Made A Decision...

After many LONG hours of looking, and trying names on for size, we have finally found the name Mom and Dad have chosen to give our precious new addition in a couple months.

A name is something that is very important when giving to another person. It should have meaning, and special background to you and your family. We went over the names that were associated with our family, and decided that we didn't want to duplicate our nephews name. It is his name, and he should be allowed to have his own name, without a cousin coming in and stealing it. Plus, what fun is it to use a name already in use?? So, then it was Robert, James, or Edward. None of which I was very fond of, however I would have settled for either Robert if that is what Josh wanted. However, my child was not going to be named ETHAN JAMES JONES. ( After the Phx Suns Player ) So, there went THOSE names. :) And Edward is too many E's.... didn't flow/sound right. So, here we were throwing websites around, looking at names, and I came across Alexander. I threw it out there to Josh, and it was an immediate success. He liked it, even looked up the meaning, which means- "Defending men--Help & Defender of Mankind." Strong name, for a strong little boy! Also, it is English-- which is what Josh's Heritage is.

I am so thankful to have finally gotten his name nailed down!! It is one thing I can finally cross off the "To-Do List " before he gets here!!! YAYAYAYAYA!!!!
