Josh and I have said that we are going to buckle down and get busy on the things which need to be completed. Such as 2 kids rooms now need to be done. It will be easy once we move downstairs, as the only thing that needs to happen up in the room Zach is moving to, is vacuuming and spackling the walls where pictures were hanging. Then, we can line tape off the walls, and get busy doing the painting. It is going to probably take all weekend to do the room. Multi colored walls- etc. will definately make it interesting. Then, onto the next MAJOR project which will be primering the room Zach is in now for the babies room. The only issue with that is, the wallpaper border all along the bottom of the room! I had never done wallpaper putting the room up, so my SIL helped and basically put the paper up. I should start researching now how I am going to get it down!! Once that is complete which I can see being a chore- I am going to have to clean the walls, and primer the room to get it back to square one where we can actually do something with it. Now that I have spelled out in TERMS what needs to be done, how much work it is, and how little time we actuall have left -- I think Josh wants to get going on things. Lets hope it isn't too late!!
So, to the REVIEWS part--- We were planning on doing a Stars Theme in his room, with blues and browns. The place I found the bedding and theme I liked best was Target. The day I found it, there were not any review. But, when I went back today, I saw 4 reviews that the bedding fades really bad with the 1st wash, and someone even went as far as to say it looks like hand me downs after it has been washed. REALLY!??? Just my luck. I could go to Babies R Us, and get a similar stars theme set, but I didn't care for the one there, as much as I liked the one at Target. BUMMMERRRRRRRR!!!!!
So, I just emailed Josh and asked him what his ideas were as far as what we should do??? Should we change the theme to something else,... or keep it as it is??? I am sure people are not exactly happy they paid good money for it to fade like that. I wouldn't be--- On top of the fact the nursery colors, etc. probably match what they got in bedding.

what if you just use solids... the sheets are really the only thing you wash... cuz bumpers are not meant to be washed (just spot cleaned)and dust ruffles dont get dirty either.. IDK, just a though. Save all the fancy stuff for decor (that doesn't get washed either :) and by the time you see fading- you will probably have a new theme in mind cuz he will be older. PLUS, if you dry clean, you dont have to worry about fading. If you love the theme/fabric, I say go for it.
