I am one of the luckiest girls around. I have good friends, family, and even minor aquaintances who are so special in my life. For the past almost 6 months for those who do not know, I have worked at Wells Fargo, for 2 of the most amazing managers anyone could ask for. They have touched my life in ways I did not think was even capable.... and have surpassed my expectations of what management staff should be. I am going to truely miss them!! And hope that one day I will be able to work closely with them again.
(Laurie and Michael)
*Aug. 28th was my last day before I was set to go on "Maternity Leave." I didn't plan for anything special to happen, my only request was that Michelle make me one of those awesome curly blue ribbons for my overhead bin. Well, she had some other plans in mind with another co-worker of ours, and had a full on Baby Shower, with games, etc. etc.
Here is my desk when I walked in that morning!! :)
Michelle made an AMAZING diaper cake--- It has EVERYTHING in and on it. :) WOW, we are so lucky!!! The book on top for the topper, is actually a book that is a LONG caterpillar, which holds a story, and all the kind words of encouragement and amazing friends who I will miss dearly! What a fantastic idea Michelle!!
My managers had taken me out to lunch at Red Robin for my last day. When we got back from lunch, we walked out of the elevator, and there was all the girls in the conference room, waiting and hanging out! I was so surprised!!
So, we played 3 games, which were all great. The first one was chew 3 sticks of gum in a minute, and then try to form a baby. LMAO--- Now this was FUNNY!! Here I am chewing my gum, and dancing,... and then under it, I am attempting to form some kind of baby out of what looks like a chewed tongue. EWWWW...
and then, here is the final end result for some. For me- I am not talented at making babies out of gum, so I gave up, and ate mine! LOL.
So then, it was on to guessing how many sheets of toilet paper I was around. I actually was 14 two ply sheets around!! LOL... But, I am getting measured, and here are the girls guessing.
They played guess how many skittles were in the bottle. I guessed 136- and it was actually 128. :) SOOO close.... It was super fun.
Then, we played guess the 3 kinds of baby food. I was so skeptical about putting the green one in my mouth, but atleast it was only green beans!!
We then went on to cake and presents. CHECK OUT THIS CAKE. It was amazing. And I am so thankful to the lady at work who took her own time out to make such a fantastic cake that was certainly enjoyed by all. Especially Ethan and I!!!! Hahaha
Here is some of the stuff we got. I got BIB'S BIB'S BIB'S!! LOL... but we got clothes, and pacifiers, and bottles, liners, blankets, hats, etc. etc. It was just really an amazing party, and I am so thankful to Michelle and Pilar for putting it together, and for the office participating. Couldn't have asked for a better send away, cause I left feeling very loved, and can't wait to bring Ethan in to let everyone meet him!!
This is only a few things we laid out from the bags. :)
Thankyou again to everyone!! It was truely an amazing day for me. I will never forget it!!
