Zach's room is pretty much done now. We are going to be moving him into it this weekend. He absolutely LOVES going in the new room now, and seeing the bright colorful walls. He claps, and just loves to touch the walls with the Red and Blue. We even have him recognizing what color it is he is seeing, and when asked, he is getting good at showing us what color RED is-- or what color YELLOW is. :) Such a smart boy!!!
Zach was just at the doctor's yesterday for possible "GERD" again. He has once again all the signs/symptoms minus actually having things "come back up." Poor guy. He has been burping like an adult for like the past 2 weeks. At first I didn't think anything of it, until it continued, and actually got worse. Now, he has the gases coming out of both ends. The sad part is, he doesn't even have to eat or drink anything and his little tummy is full of air. Picked him up from Grandpa's the other day, got him home, and he had a slight fever of 100.1 which isn't anything huge, but seeing the nuerologist, she said that with kids who have had seizures from temps. you have to watch closely and get any fever under control immediately. Which is exactly what Momma did. Children's Motrin is AMAZING!!! We have been controlling it, but it hasn't gone away completely. Yesterday at the Dr. he had 100.3 temp. UH-- poor guy has a runny nose, and a small cough. On top of his viscious gas. Hahaha... Gas-X, Mylacon, and Ranydadine are going to be our friends until I can get this under control. Other than his slight issues right now, Dr. said once again he is looking great!! Such good news... and plus on top of it, did I mention I LOVEEEEEE our Dr?? Josh ended up staying home ill with him and taking him in, and since I couldn't be there, Dr. Z called me lastnight to make sure I knew exactly what was going on with him, what her plan of action was going to be, and to let me know if things didn't improve, then I can call her anytime! But, just incase my husband didn't relay everything, she was checking in to see how things were, as well as letting Mom know what was going on. All after hours when she should be going home. What an awesome Dr!!! We are so lucky to have picked her, and also Ethan is going to be in great hands with her. So important you like your kids Pediatrician.
So Mommy woke up with a stuffy nose this morning-- Lucky me--- pray I don't get sick!!! UH
I only have close to a week left work wise. I am training right now, and find that I am going to be leaving Michael and Laurie in good hands. Even if I don't return, I know that someone is going to be with them, capable and able to do what needs to be done. Especially to Laurie's liking, which can sometimes change every 5 minutes!! As far as Michael goes-- he is pretty easy to get along with and please regardless. Michelle has an instant ticket to job security, and a ticket to work for 2 fantastic bosses. I can't wait to have Ethan and go and visit to see how things are going. With any luck Michael said the next time we see each other, we will both have lost our "stomach's" lol. So funny!!! & thats the plan!!! I am going to work alot harder on this one, then I did with Zach.
Today is my 32 week appt. I was 32 weeks Tues. and can't wait to get measured. I think I AM HUGE now. Oh my gosh, the other day I woke up, was getting ready for work, and FREAKED when I looked in the mirror and saw how big I was getting. I just want to see how far along I am measuring. Even being able to find out if I can get an U/S to find out how big he is, would be good. Just an estimate, cause of course they were WAY OFF with Zach. But, anything is better than nothing.
My ankles and knees have been swelling. I am just trying to drink drink drink. I have also been suffering from nausea again!! I feel like I am in my 1st trimester, but the Dr. said it is not uncommon to get "morning sickness" in the 3rd trimester again. Whoa-- I thought these days were long gone!! To add to it, its not only morning illness, it can come at ANYTIME!!! I remember my SIL throwing up in the end, but I am not sure why that was happening?? Maybe she had the same nauseous feeling, or just the fact she was sick?? This is no fun -- but I am almost there!! I have everything all planned out this time, which is nice knowing already what I am in for!! Should be much more laid back, relaxed, and I have an fantastic OB who listens and knows what I would like. ETHAN A. JONES-- I cant wait to meet you!!! I am getting so nervous, but excited at the same time!! WOOO HOOO!!!!
I will post 32 week pregnancy profile pictures later on when I get home from the Dr. Now to wake up more, get up, get ready for work, get Zach packed and rolling and off to work!!
Til Next Time....
